White House Lays Out New Rules for Reporters Ahead of Thanksgiving

Jordan Kirkland - November 21st, 2018

On Monday, the White House announced the new rules after restoring the press credential of CNN reporter Jim Acosta. Acosta lost his credentials last week after he refused to give up the microphone while asking President Trump a question.

The new rules include limiting journalists to asking one question and allowing follow-up questions at the discretion of Trump.

It is expected that reporters will continue to ask follow-up questions, regardless of the new rules putting a stranglehold on the press.
