Upon news of the award, Representative Rommel said he was "honored to receive this recognition from the Florida Chamber."

Florida Chamber also awarded Rommel an "A" grade this legislative session for his courage to take on fraud and abuse and restore balance to the property insurance marketplace.
Rommel's' crowning achievement this legislative cycle was his commitment and determination to pass comprehensive legislation to stop bad actors from taking advantage of Florida citizens and businesses. With his guidance, assignments of benefits reform finally crossed the goal line. His bill will curb skyrocketing insurance costs, protect consumers from fraudulent litigation, and enable Florida business to finally prosper.
